Collected pieces and a little mischief

A Craftsman bungalow owned by two collectors who had run out of walls. Our job was to make room for the art without turning the house into a gallery.

We edited, regrouped and rehung, then built the rooms around the loudest painting in each. Paper lanterns, brass reading lamps and hand-dyed linens keep the mood loose. Every object has a place, and a few still get moved on Sundays.
