A 1950s kitchen, kept and loved

The owners asked us not to renovate the kitchen. We listened.

We kept the original yellow cabinets, rewired the lights, relined the drawers in checked cotton and added a long banquette under the window. The rest of the house follows the kitchen: warm, a bit worn, and happy to be used every day.
