A guest house with a red streak

A guest house for visiting family, built on a slope above the main garden.

We kept the shell white and added red in small, confident doses: a reading lamp, a bench, a stripe on the bed linen. Old doors from the main house became headboards. Guests tend to stay longer than planned.
