The Soft Arrival Project

Furnished homes for families in transition

The Soft Arrival Project furnishes homes for families moving out of temporary housing. Our studio designs the rooms and our suppliers donate the pieces.

This year we completed eleven homes in Pasadena and Altadena.

Coral velvet armchair beside a small table
Glass bottles and a stem of peonies on a shelf
Dried pink flowers on a side table
Pink-walled corner with a lamp and a patterned armchair
Flowers in a bottle in late sun
Tulips in a glass jug on a wooden step

Notes

More on the project

Each home gets real beds, a proper table, lamps that work and a few things that are just nice to have: a rug, a plant, a framed print.
