Questions
How fit do I need to be?
Ringing is a matter of timing, not strength. You need to climb 72 steps and stand for an hour and a half with short breaks.
What does the fee cover?
£48 covers six evenings, a tutor on every rope and a printed handbook. The simulator hour on Tuesdays is free while you are on the course.
What if I miss a week?
Come to the Tuesday simulator hour that week; the tutor will cover the missed stroke work before the next Thursday.
I am left-handed.
It makes no difference. Both hands hold the sally and the tail in the same way.
What comes after the course?
Wednesday tower practice. Most learners ring in rounds for a service within three months and plain hunt within six.
