Velmora Freight books 1,800 container slots a month between Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg. Until 2025 most of those bookings came in by phone and email and were typed into a spreadsheet by two coordinators.
The brief was a portal where repeat customers price, book and track a shipment without calling, plus a public site that explains routes, cut-off times and rates.
What we did
One portal for quotes, bookings and documents.
We mapped the booking process with the coordinators, then built the portal on a headless CMS and a typed API. Customers see live slot availability, upload customs papers, and download invoices. The public site pulls route data from the same API, so timetables never go out of date.
