Questions

What is the minimum order?

£150 per delivery. There is no delivery charge above that.

When do I need to order by?

14:00 the day before delivery. Zone D (PK8, PK9) closes at 12:00. The Delivery page works out the date for your district.

How is yield worked out?

Saleable weight to spec, divided by the weight of the primal it is cut from. Short rib at 74 % means 100 kg of plate gives 74 kg of short rib.

Do you sell by the kg or by the case?

By the case. Prices are per kg, and each case has a set weight on the spec. The agent rounds kg up to whole cases.

How much can a portion weigh?

Each spec lists a portion weight and a tolerance, 5 g for steaks, up to 15 g for bone-in cuts.

Where is the lot code?

On the case label, top right, in the form PB-2610-114. Type it on the Traceability page or in the command bar.

What does the agent do with my order?

It writes lines to a ledger in this browser tab and adds them up. It does not send anything. Orders go through your account manager or by email.

Can I change a standing order?

Up to the cut-off for each delivery. Changes after the cut-off apply from the next drop.

What happens if a case is short?

Report it within 24 hours with the lot code. Short weight is credited at the case price per kg.

Do you supply halal or kosher?

No. The cutting room handles beef, pork and lamb from the farms listed on the Traceability page.
